Abstract


The chatter between the tool and the workpiece in the metal cutting process produces a very strong self-excited vibration . Dynamic cyclical force generated by the cutting process is caused by excitation , and can maintain its vibration is not attenuated . Cutting , cutting chatter not only the destruction of the surface quality of the machined parts , but also accelerate the wear of the tool , even cutting can not be serious . To avoid vibration or reduce vibration , sometimes have to reduce cutting the amount equivalent to only half the average of industrial countries , China 's machine tool cutting efficiency machining vibration problem is not a good solution is an important reason . Most likely to occur due to the workpiece machining lathe cut flutter phenomenon, this article using the tool structure improvements to solve the flutter problem . To prevent the cutting blade easily cited partial sharpening guide groove to determine the flat blade shape , using a large negative rake angle increases feeding resistance for the damping control within a certain range at the same time to determine the three-dimensional shape of the main cutting edge , the traditional flat type main cutting edge is optimized for space -point cutting edge , wherein the first two points in the processing from the cutting action , and the other point has two effects , first : play the role of stabilizing support ; two : the linear damper rib simplifies point and improve the tool durable degrees .
