Abstract
|
Acetonitrile and ethyl acetate is a wide range of industrial applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical raw materials and fine chemical organic solvent . Forming an azeotropic mixture of both , using ordinary distillation methods can not be separated , its recycling is difficult . Acetonitrile - ethyl acetate azeotrope the distillation separation methods and technology research has not been reported in the literature . This paper studies azeotropic distillation separation heterogeneous intermittent acetonitrile - ethyl acetate azeotropic mixture . First azeotropic entrainer choice, the final selection of n-hexane to azeotropic entrainer and acetonitrile - ethyl acetate - n-hexane ternary system the vapor-liquid equilibrium experiments , verify that the n-hexane as azeotropic entrainer feasibility. And liquid-liquid equilibrium experimental determination of n-hexane - acetonitrile system to determine the parameters of heterogeneous hierarchical reflux conditions . Finally, the n-hexane as azeotropic entrainer acetonitrile - ethyl acetate intermittent azeotropic distillation separation experiments . The results showed that , using n-hexane as entrainer heterogeneous intermittent azeotropic distillation, enables the acetonitrile - ethyl acetate azeotropic mixture separation . The azeotropic distillation device is divided into the reboiler , 4 tower body , stratification , and condenser part , to establish the mathematical model of a heterogeneous batch azeotropic distillation process . Balance model of vapor-liquid equilibrium and liquid-liquid UNIFAC model is solved using the Newton-Raphson method and two-point implicit combined . Simulation run of the model and solving method for faster convergence acetonitrile - ethyl acetate - n-hexane ternary system simulation . The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental data .
