Abstract


Mevastatin is the one of the statin drugs , usually as a precursor of pravastatin . Pravastatin for 3 - hydroxy - 3 - methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase (HMG-CoA reductase ) , a competitive inhibitor , has a positive effect in reducing cholesterol . US- cutting statin direct impact on the quality of the the transformed bacteria conversion efficiency and purity of pravastatin , the major sources of production costs at the same time it is also the pravastatin .
