Abstract

Wind power is one of the cleanest energy source, and wind energy generation is the most economical form of the tapping the wind energy on a large scale. In this thesis, the development of wind energy generation in our country and abroad is summarized first, and the prospect of wind energy generation in our country is introduced. On the basis of the summary for the development of wind energy generation, the actuality and the development of wind generation technology are introduced in brief. The paper proposes a new type of modular stator structure three-phase direct drives type permanent magnet synchronous wind generator, which offers a number of significant advantages over conventional direct drives type permanent magnet synchronous wind generator. In the generator, there are k1 sector combinations, and each sector combination has three phases. Each phases has one modular stator which has k2 toothes. The electrical machine’s structure and the principle is introduced .The machine equipped with the concentrated winding and the number of pole-pairs can be very much. The winding is continuously coiled in stator core. The end winding is minimal and the axis length of machine is smaller, so the stator core is easy to transport, fixing and repair. The relation between structure parameter and pole number is discussed. It is also approved that only the 3rd and triple cogging torque is existed and the others are eliminated. The magnetic distribution and the induced electromotive force of the generator, which is equipped with surface-mounted magnet rotor, is analyzed by finite element technique(FET) and calculative result proved that phased inductive electromotive force of three-phase stator winding is trapezoid wave, and the flat top part of trapezoid wave approaches to 2π/3 electrical angle, is fit for the communication load which has large inductor filter.
