Abstract

Site response in earthquake engineering has become the main direction of wave propagation problems . The so-called site response is characterized by a certain local site effects on seismic wave propagation , and its specific performance in the event of an earthquake ground motion zoom in and out effects , and the resulting damage distribution regionalization . Nature, local site type is all-encompassing , for example: the valley ( also known canyon ) , valleys , raised terrain , underground holes, wedge terrain and so on. A lot of damage that particular local site conditions on ground motion has an important impact , resulting in the ground or floor structures varying degrees of damage . Therefore, the study of such problems , both in theory and engineering applications has important significance . Alluvial valleys and canyons important as the actual project site , has become the focus of research . With the deepening of research , so far it is still an important and pressing a hot topic. This follow-up as the results of previous studies and in-depth , and further study of the non-concentric shallow circular layered alluvial valleys and covered with a layer of non-concentric circular shallow depressions venue Scattering of plane P waves problem . In this paper, Fourier-Bessel series expansion method to study the wave function . It is based on a sufficiently large radius arc simulated half-space surface , all the incident, reflected and scattered waves wave potential functions expanded into Fourier-Bessel series form , and use Graf addition formula for the unified coordinate transformation, after calculated according to various boundary conditions the wave potential functions Φ and Ψ, finally find the site surface displacement amplitudes analytical solution . In this paper, analytical solutions obtained are given in the incident angle , incident frequency , uneven deposition layer or cover layer thickness under the influence of such factors as the site response , and thus get some qualitative conclusions.
