Abstract


With the progress and development of dredging technology, the dredging is becoming more and more important to the society. While the dredging market is booming in recent years, the dredging technique and field management have become very important topics for the survival and development of dredging enterprises. Facing the above challenges, it plays an important role to promote the progress and development of dredging technology by enhancing the field management and technical innovation. For large dredging work, there are currently matured procedures for the dredging of muddy and sandy bottom, but there are few researches on the dredging of rock and coral reef.After the brief introduction of the basic principle of dredging work and the cutter suction dredger equipments, based on the dredging theory and the experience of dredging work practice, the systematic analysis and summarization for the dredging of coral reef, cobblestone, weathering rock were carried out in the present thesis. The specific technics of dredging rock are presented, which builds up the foundation for the reasonable procedure of rock dredging. The main contents and conclusions are as following: For the coral reef dredging in Port Sudan, the different influences and corresponding control measures were explored, the abrasion of pipeline is reduced to some degree, and the method of dredging the coral reef by using single pump was carried out; for the cobblestone dredging in Qinghuadao Port, the dredging method by the short pipeline with three pumps connected in series was carried out and the production efficiency was improved. The calculation process in detail is presented.The differences of dredging rock between the companies abroad and in China are presented and the suggestions for improving the development of dredging in China are given. It is shown that the application of cutter suction dredger in rock, coral reef and cobblestone dredging has advantages of high efficiency of production, continous dredging and cheap cost.
