The construction of expressway network becomes important from day to day with the social and economic development, and the importance of feasibility research on expressway construction project is more outstanding. The precondition and important part of traffic project feasibility research are market survey and path selection which different from the normal industrial project for its particularity. So it is theoretical meaning and empirical value to study the Baoding-Cangzhou expressway traffic forecast and path selection.The dissertation comprised four chapters: first chapter, introduce the background, confirm the topics and research method; second chapter, traffic survey and analysis on Bao-Cang expressway, include OD survey and data statistics, distribution of region tour character, section traffic statistics, investigate on main expressway traffic and so on; third chapter, forecast on the traffic of Bao-Cang expressway, mainly include four step methods to forecast traffic, comprise happen, attract, induce traffic, all methods include weight model, elasticity coefficient way and freight way; four chapter, compare the two possible south/north paths according to construction condition, finally we select and recommend the south path.
