Abstract

Titanium dioxide is an important semiconductor photocatalytic materials with photocatalytic activity, corrosion resistance, of itself high stability, the price is relatively low, and shows excellent properties in the photocatalytic degradation of organic compounds toxic to humans and other advantages, , and thus in environmental pollution control, water treatment, air purification, preparation of self-cleaning materials, and many other fields have broad application prospects, material science and catalysis scientific research hot spots. However, TiO2 is a wide band gap material, spectral response range is narrow, less efficient use of solar energy, and it is difficult to filter and recovery, largely limits its practical application. In order to improve the practicality of TiO2, we do the following: the design of a transition metal ion doping process, cerium doped TiO2 nanomaterials. Cheap, easy to get ordinary inorganic salts as raw materials, nano-CeO2-TiO2 powder was synthesized by hydrothermal method, and the synthesized powders were characterized. X-ray diffraction analysis proved that the product is synthesized by hydrothermal method tetragonal anatase structure, with a transmission electron microscope (TEM) observation particles substantially spherical particle diameter of about 20nm. The application experiments confirmed that the modified powder having a higher reactivity to improve the speed and efficiency of the photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes. Development of mesoporous materials, in addition to improve the adsorption capacity of the catalyst with the large surface area of ??the mesoporous molecular sieve through the doping of metal elements to promote the separation of TiO2 photo-generated electrons and holes, two-way to increase the photocatalytic efficiency and spectral response range. Surfactant cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) and polyethylene glycol or OP emulsifier Composite Template, a series of cerium-doped titanium dioxide mesoporous materials prepared by hydrothermal and a variety of factors that influence the reaction be optimized to determine the optimum reaction conditions. X-ray diffraction phase analysis, that is tetragonal anatase structure observed by TEM sample morphology of disordered mesoporous materials, you can clearly see the disorder of the worm-like channels. The product N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms shape as the Langmuir type IV, typical mesoporous structure of adsorption-desorption isotherms and calculated its aperture in the 10-20nm. Light absorption and adsorption experiments showed that: hydrothermal synthesis of nano-CeO2-TiO2 composite mesoporous materials adsorption performance are better than with non-synthesized mesoporous products, and confirmed: mesoporous powder in the ultraviolet and visible region than non-mesoporous TiO2 NANOPARTICLES higher light absorption properties. The photocatalytic experiments show that: In this study, the synthesis of nano-CeO2-TiO2 composite mesoporous catalyst can be completed in less than 40min in the sunlight close to 100% of the organic dye decolorization and degradation, than non-mesoporous nano-TiO2 powder bleaching degradation time by nearly half. The powder recovery recycling experiments show that: mesoporous powder filtration speed, high recovery rate, and the the reuse effect is better than the non-mesoporous of nano-ZiO2 powder.
