Abstract


Vocational and technical education is the unity of vocational education and technical education , general education -based skills training as the center , specialized professional knowledge , skills and attitudes education through vocational schools and vocational training institutions , the workers , to now or will be able to secure the social activities of the career and life-long learning ability . International Standard Classification of Education , the status and the role in the economic and social development , vocational and technical education and general education are equally important. The rapid development of higher vocational education today , with the constant improvement of the social employment mechanism , the students competition for jobs , competition between schools more and more intense. Only guarantee the quality of teaching, a school vitality to continue, in order to remain invincible in the fierce competition . In order to improve the quality of teaching, it is necessary to deepen the reform of higher vocational education . The main subject from the point of view of the higher vocational education , starting from the mode of education status quo and problems of vocational colleges , standardized research methods to study the contents of the summary and conclusion , using empirical methods to study the content analysis and judgment, with the dialectical method of Chinese higher vocational education model to analyze , discover skills education, innovation education and vocational colleges education model . This issue through comparative analysis of domestic and foreign higher vocational education mode analysis , overview of the development of higher vocational education model features , departure from vocational colleges concepts of education, in the form of education , school system , and other issues , to account for the higher vocational the need for reform of the education model . Finally, the problems and shortcomings of the development of higher vocational education model , a model of higher vocational education reform strategy .
