Abstract

Medium-voltage Distribution Network has far-ranging practicability. It is now a cosmopolitan focus subject by using the network’s huge network sources to achieve high-quality data communication. Among the several cases of takecommunications, power line carrier communication is the most promising one.The scale, complicacy and automation level of the Distribution Network determine the requirement of the communication system. Power Line Carrier Communication System has become an absolute workable and promising new technique in Distribution Network along with the development of Power Line Carrier Technology.Guangzhou is now on the early stage of Distribution Automation. It is a city with lots of High Voltage Power Cable. Medium-voltage Distribution technology is suitable for distribution automation communication. Now the coming of the huge construction of the Distribution Network Automation and the research of the feasibility and reliability of Mid-voltage shield layer carrier technology contribute a great meaning to Guangzhou’s construction of Distribution Automation. The paper studies below:1、Analyze the feature of Mid-voltage carrier technology. Make technical analysis to the coupling ways of cable shielding layer carrier.2、Analyze the feasibility of using Mid-voltage in Distribution Network with consideration of the actuality of Guangzhou’s Distribution Network. Test it3、Study the application mode of Mid-voltage in Distribution Automation.
