Abstract


Objective: Obesity is not only the body shape of children , functional impact , and is a serious threat to their health and quality of life . Currently, overweight and obesity prevention and treatment of primary and secondary students has become modern life factors that affect students' physical health and mental health , school sports , an important issue to be solved . Primary school overweight and obesity, the incidence of overweight and obesity research to reveal the factors that lead to obesity in primary school , School Students , the impact of mental health conditions for the healthy growth of children , has a very important theoretical significance and practical value . Methods: A sample survey method , the physical examination of the Suzhou city six primary schools in grades 1 to 6 , screened simple in obese children as obese group , as a control group of normal weight healthy primary school students in the same grade and quantity , their physical , bodily functions carried out a comparative analysis , and the use of \MHRSP ) and general lifestyle survey , comparative analysis of simple obesity on physical health and mental health of primary school students . Results: (1) Pupils in the incidence of overweight and obesity, Suzhou , male and female , respectively, 11.2 % and 6.3% above the national average ; (2) simple obesity group pupils strength, speed , endurance and quality physical and vital capacity body mass index , significantly lower than the control group ; (3 ) poor diet and lack of physical activity , is an important factor of simple obesity , simple obesity has had a definite impact on pupils' mental health . Conclusion: primary and secondary students with simple obesity has become an important factor in factors affecting students' physical and mental health , family and school education should be based on the establishment of a scientific and rational prevention system , obese students the necessary psychological health education , providing opportunities for physical exercise , promote their physical and mental health .
