Abstract


With the rapid development of the Internet and other new media , the aging trend of newspaper readers increased gradually away from a paper-based newspapers on behalf of young people in college students . Paper newspapers and rigorous content , to facilitate in-depth reports , easy to carry and preservation advantage thus not play . To reverse the decline , it must be in-depth analysis of the the paper newspaper consumption patterns of the young people , the right medicine . To better explore this issue , it is necessary to introduce Bourdieu 's theory of survival mentality . The university student paper newspapers and consumer practice as research subjects , the introduction of the \point of view , the use of a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis , consumer survival mentality of the students in the school paper newspapers to dig deeper , to build a paper newspapers and consumer survival mentality interactive mode , and in accordance with existing theory identify factors change both survival mentality to be some attempt to explore how to open the college students in the market to do the paper newspapers . Found by exploring away from paper-based newspaper has become a the college field survival mentality , it is in fact the result of collusion by the newspapers , social and campus . Symbolic capital , economic capital , the impact of consumer ideology , as well as new arrivals and other factors are the cause of this survival mentality incentives . I believe that the response to this phenomenon , The NIE Engineering and old newspaper reform imperative .
