Abstract


IEC 61850 standard will be the basis of seamless communication system of the future power system , is bound to have a profound impact on all aspects of substation automation . How the application of the international standards as soon as possible to become a research hotspot . This article briefly describes the background and main content of the substation automation system standard IEC 61850 , describes the main technical characteristics of the standard : the network hierarchical data objects , object-oriented unified modeling , self-describing data , abstract communication service mapping and the use of XML configuration technology. Summarized from four functional modeling , data modeling , communication service mapping and conformance testing the IEC61850 standard implementation process . Developed IEC61850 system configuration tools in the development of the application of XML technology Substation Configuration Description Language SCL file generation, parsing and validation ; key technology template DOM document object , discussed four specific applications in the system configuration tool . Communication Manager implementations based on the IEC61850 standard , proposed a way compatible with existing equipment : First of all, retain the original equipment databases and applications , IEC61850 achieve as the original system can be tailored task in this task , depending on the configuration description of the CID file dynamically generated the IEC61850 database server and client functions ; Next, generate a configuration file by the IEC 61850 configuration tool to achieve the original database and IEC61850 mapping database ; Finally, according to the mapping file refresh bidirectional two databases . In this paper, the realization communications manager of both converter does not support the IEC61850 smart devices can also access . In this paper , the system configuration tools and IEC61850 Communication Manager implementation , as far as possible to ensure the stability of the original system , but also has good scalability . Developed in this paper system configuration tools and communication management unit to participate in the six organizations of the State Grid Corporation of interoperability experiment results show that this approach is entirely feasible , existing products on the development of new products based on IEC61850 and IEC61850 standard has a strong reference .
