Abstract


Promoting the“one feature and three points”when making a progress in education of ideological politics is a significant and realistic program. Theoretical research on ideological politics in our army is gradually productive and mature, while the effectiveness of such research work has not been fully revealed in the face of a continuing surge of new problems. By analyzing the needs of the soldiers, the thesis puts forward the concept of“strong needs”, studies the general characteristics, law and process of its formation.The individual needs of soldiers are the innate quality of person and they cannot be neglected in the process of education of ideological politics. Otherwise the achievements of such education would be degraded. In order to improve the level of education of ideological politics in our army, this thesis began with a discussion on the individual needs of officers and soldiers, trying to find the measures of enhancing the efficiency of the education. The research conducted in this thesis will be helpful to make our army into a powerful and loyal troop.By applying“person’s needs”theory、“person’s fully development”theory、“person’s status”theory from Marxism, as well as psychological theories and pedagogic theories, the strong needs of soldiers has been defined and classified. Taking account of the materials and data obtained by investigation, five characteristics of the strong needs of soldiers have been generalized. They are as follows: (1) variability;(2)developmental;(3)restriction;(4)dominance;(5)differences. And then the thesis has analyzed the four deviations in the process of recognizing the relationship between the education and the strong needs of soldiers. The first deviation is that paying too much on person’s social nature while overlooking person’s nature quality. The second is that the education focus too much on ranking people at different classes while the literary function of education has not been emphasized. The third is that taking many efforts to use the education as a measure of administration, not a way of meeting the developmental needs of people. The forth is that spending too much time in inputting metaphysical theories whereas some vivid knowledge and practical techniques have been omitted.By discussion above, the thesis has found that there is something in common between the education of ideological politics and the individual needs of soldiers. And there are differences as well as intersection between the two aspects. Its metaphysical and changeable features characterize the education. Meanwhile, their concrete and permanent features characterize the strong needs of soldiers in the army. Furthermore, the strong needs of soldiers can propel the development of themselves、the army and the society. Therefore, an education of ideological politics, which concerns people’s individual needs, is not only reachable, but also necessary. Education of ideological politics should play a important role in constitute a harmonious relationship between meeting the strong needs of soldiers and moving forward the enforcement of our army.By conducting case study, the third part analyzes the state of the strong needs of soliders, describes its structural characteristics and tagmeme relations. By analyzing the structure of strong needs and the community, class and familiy background correlatedly, the third part also reviewes the catholicity of the strong needs. The author tests and measures the force of strong needs of soldiers by breaking strong needs into actualization anticipattion, positive attitude in work and satisfaction in military life, etc.The focal point of the article is the educational measures of“make it according to the situation”. It means that the effective education must be established on the basis of knowing the thoughts of personnel in the army. It’s quite necessary to integrate the goal of the army construction and the strong needs of soldiers. The first step is to create a common recognition among officers and soldiers that the goal of army construction is in accordance with the goal of their individual development. The second step is to control their variable needs. The policies should be“encourage appropriate needs”,“meet the reasonable needs”,“control the high end of needs and the low end of needs”,“control their needs at the right moment and at appropriate level”. The third step is to give different education to different needs. In doing so, all kinds of needs, including the needs of the army, can be met effectively. When the some people’s needs conflict with the needs of the army, a specific education must be conduct to adjust the strong needs of soldiers to the needs of the army. Of course, this kind of education should be conducted naturally and gradually. If the strong needs of soldiers are just different, not deviant, from the needs of the army, various sorts of educational recourses should be integrated to guide the personnel in the direction of developing correct ideas about individual needs. Finally, when the strong needs of soldiers are in accordance with the needs of the army, the education of ideological politics should enhance the strong needs of soldiers. All efforts and all recourses should not be spared to encourage the growth of the needs.Education of ideological politics in the army should fully apply outside recourses in order to keep in control the adjustment of the strong needs of soldiers. Modern technological means, such as internet、television、newspapers、magazines and so on, could be taken into account of education for a timely adjustment. At the same time, theoretical recourses, such as theories from political education、theories from psychology, could also be utilized to make the education of ideological politics more in the army a more scientific way for our army’s construction.
