Abstract


As the first of ten kinds of emerging technology that deeply affect human future life, sensor network has tremendous applicable value. It is a kind of novel technology about acquiring and processing information. The novel technology integrates sensor technology and micro-electro-mechanism system and network technology. It can monitor and sense and acquire and process the information in different environment or the information of monitor object, and transfer the information to the terminal users. It demonstrates comprehensive applicable prospect in many fields, such as military, medicine, space exploration, industry, civilian and home networks. Scientists predict that sensor network will become an important part of our daily life in future.Sensor network mainly use wireless technology for communication. But it is different from the traditional wireless network because it is generally used in bad environment where the battery can not be charged. So designing efficient protocol and algorithm to extend the life cycle of network becomes the core problem. But, present protocol theories of wireless network, ad-hoc network and bluetooth network disagree with sensor network. So the research of the protocol and algorithm aim at sensor network becomes the hot research.This paper introduces the background and application of wireless sensor network and analyzes the characteristics and representative route protocols of wireless sensor network. Finally, design and implement the entire wireless sensor network system. The paper can be divided into three parts:Firstly, design and implement WSN hardware node based on chip CC1010 with deep researchabout the formation of WSN node.Secondly,propose a simple and effective proactive Wireless Sensor Networks oriented routing protocol.Finally,implement the route protocol on hardware platform. After a lot of testing work, routing algorithm and entire system’s correctness has been proven.
