Abstract

Ad hoc routing protocols, depending on the routing strategy, in general can be divided into a table-driven and the on-demand-driven. Table-driven routing protocol requirements for each network node in the routing table, to be there to the routing of all the possible destination nodes, so that when the node sends data packets may be immediately find an available route from the routing table. On-demand-driven routing protocols only in cases required by the source node will try to establish a route based on the need to probe the network topology. NDMR (Node-Disjoint Multi-path Routing) protocol based on AODV (Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector) and DSR (Dynamic Source Routing) protocol is an On-demand routing protocols. Compared with AODV and DSR NDMR protocol to significantly reduce the routing overhead, and in between a pair of source and destination nodes to establish the routing of the plurality of node-disjoint. In the default condition, if there is no link interruption occurs the, NDMR Agreement from multiple node-disjoint routing will choose the shortest route for communication. Analysis NDMR agreement basis, I-NDMR (Improved Node-Disjoint Multi-path Routing) protocol to improve the agreement to reduce the number of links shared between the source - destination node and reduce These link load. The main idea of ??the the I-NDMR agreement is to choose the to load minimum route rather than the shortest path routing to send data packets. To achieve this objective, the load rating and load profile of the program is added to the original NDMR protocol. Load assessment program is estimated each established routing link load information; The load update program will be in accordance with the changes of the link load, periodic updates each route link load information. Thus, the source node can link load information for each node-disjoint routes, and thus can be selected node-disjoint routes established load route with the lowest communication. These improvements will reduce the probability of occurrence of congestion, balance the network load and improve the transmission performance of the network. In this paper, through simulation to compare the performance of NDMR protocol and the I-NDMR agreement, change the number of nodes, node movement speed simulation parameters to simulate different network environments. Finite state machine model of the routing layer of the I-NDMR agreement the the original NDMR protocol routing layer model based on finite state machine, a new Load_Eval, and Load_Update state, respectively, corresponding to the load assessment and load update program. The simulation results show the I-NDMR agreement by selecting the minimum load routing the transmission of data packets, reducing data packet in the node buffer wait time, and then get lower latency. Although load update program will increase the protocol routing overhead, but the simulation shows little difference of the two protocols routing overhead.
