The SAW resonator versatile and can be used as the frequency control element fixed frequency oscillator for high stability , narrow-band voltage controlled oscillator and low phase noise frequency source . Quartz substrate surface acoustic wave resonator has a wide operating temperature range , temperature frequency characteristics , small size, high reliability, a series of characteristics . Especially low phase noise surface acoustic - wave resonator oscillator has excellent resistance to vibration performance , plays an important role in mobile communications, radar, satellite and remote sensing and control system . This thesis is focused on the modeling and analysis of the basic structure of the surface acoustic - wave devices and oscillator circuit design , patterns can be studied using theoretical and experimental production together . First of all, according to the theory of acoustic transmission , by analyzing the reflectors , the operating mode of the transducer , the acoustic resonator model , and the preparation of the design process to optimize the structure parameters , provide the basis for the layout design ; followed by analysis of the mechanism of phase noise generated , discover reduce the phase noise design aloud surface - wave oscillator circuit , use ADS2004 simulation and optimization ; Finally, the DC magnetron sputtering process parameters on the properties of aluminum electrodes to complete the 3-4 micron lithography , etching . Experimental design and production outlet width of 4μm, the fundamental frequency of 316.7 MHz surface acoustic - wave resonator , its insertion loss is 9.8 dB , Q up to 690 ; complete debugging STW Oscillator phase noise of a higher index at 314.8 MHz from carrier frequency 1KHz Department , the phase noise is -80 dBc / Hz .
