Abstract

Microarray technology commonly used in studies of gene transcription level at some stage or state . Microarray technology for the sequential expression of the cell cycle can be a high throughput detecting the level of gene expression in the cell cycle , and to reflect the global variation of the timing of expression data . Showing periodic expression of certain genes in the cell cycle process , which cycle expressed genes play an important role in the cell cycle process , therefore , how the temporal expression data to identify cycle expressed genes is currently a hot research . Existing cycle expression of gene identification method is far too dependent on the mathematical model cycle expression of the gene expression characteristics of lack of awareness , leading to the complex calculation process , the recognition result was not ideal . To solve this problem , the paper first cycle expressed genes temporal expression data summed up the cyclical nature of the cycle expressed genes and peak characteristics , which proposed a Microarray the sequential expression data is divided into a number of gene expression cycle , and the cycle the peak characteristic assessment expressed genes to identify the cycle . This method is able to quickly and easily from the timing expression data to identify cycle expressed genes . Select three widely used temporal expression data and two sets of reliable cycle expressed genes in a collection of expressed gene identification method comparison test of this method , and the other three cycles . The results show that the proposed method can be effectively expressed genes from the timing of various Microarray expression data to identify cycles . Finally , the cycle of this method to identify expression of the gene further functional analysis , functional analysis of the results showed that the gene expression pattern and there are more closely related to the role of the gene of the cell cycle stage ; also investigated from a new point of view cycle expressed genes function cataloging enrichment levels , these results are conducive to in-depth understanding of the molecular mechanisms of cell cycle process .
