Abstract

O, m, p-cresol simulated wastewater on activated carbon adsorption and desorption characteristics and the physical and chemical properties of the isomers of the relationship between the desorption ability and biological regeneration characteristics by static tests examine cresol isomers analysis of the impact of the structural differences of the isomers of adsorption, desorption, and biological regeneration, and activated carbon adsorption - Biological Regeneration Process cresol wastewater mechanism of action and the feasibility of this exploration. Adsorption and desorption equilibrium test, the balance data showed that after Freundlich model fitting, carbon (AC) adsorption of three kinds of cresol isomers are the load Frendlich model by model parameters shows that the adsorption capacity of descending order: p-cresol> o-cresol> m-cresol, isomers the pKa was positively correlated with soluble and oxidation electrode potential was negatively correlated; the desorption descending order: o-cresol> m A phenol> p-cresol was negatively correlated with the boiling point and viscosity. In addition, the comparison adsorption and desorption equilibrium curve found adsorption irreversibility two curves differences important reason, and the combination of mathematical statistics derivation of the theory of irreversible adsorption amount of calculation, and the AC on neighbor, between, on the cresol is not reversible The amount of adsorption Q i were 27.9mg / g, 28.5mg / g, 33.4mg / g. Bio-Regeneration new carbon and renewable carbon adsorption equilibrium test to study the adsorption characteristics of the activated carbon, biological regeneration of the three cresol isomers; balanced data Freundlich model fit after renewable charcoal and carbon adsorption equilibrium the parameter K f the ratio of P = K FR / K fo as the regeneration efficiency of the evaluation indexes investigated cresol isomers adsorption reversibility relationship with biological regeneration efficiency of activated carbon, the analysis of the system environment under the mechanism of action of biological regeneration of activated carbon adsorption - biological regeneration treatment cresol to make a correct evaluation of the wastewater. Using a scanning electron microscope (SEM), the biological regeneration of the activated carbon pore internal observation, found that the pore surface of the large hole and the activated carbon outer surfaces are attached to a small amount of recycled microorganisms, this phenomenon, by analysis, the biological regeneration of activated carbon, there may be two effects, On the one hand is attached microbial metabolism pore surface is not easy to desorption of organic matter and biological regeneration role; on the other hand is attached microorganisms might clog the part of the channel, is not conducive to the desorption of organic matter in the pore, caused by certain biological regeneration limit the role.
