Abstract

With CAD technology gradually extend the popularity of virtual prototyping technology because it combines a variety of advanced methods and techniques , the role and shorten product development cycles, reduce costs significantly , and the rapid development of China 's automobile industry . To import virtual prototyping technology in the automotive industry , to take to improve the quality and efficiency of automotive product design , use of advanced technology to transform the traditional automotive industry is also an important direction . This paper through the use of virtual prototyping technology as a design tool , SolidWorks / COSMOS simulation design of the lifting mechanisms . According to the vehicle design requirements , the overall design of the lifting mechanisms through top-down design methodology SolidWorks two-dimensional kinematics simulation initially identified institutions coupling parameters , further established by SolidWorks Tipper Lifting institutions 3D model, using the COSMOS their kinematics and dynamics simulation analysis . In this paper, the combined use of simulation technology and finite element techniques , structural analysis and optimization of the design of the important parts of the lifting mechanism , optimize the structure of the components of the lifting mechanism and lightweight design , virtual prototyping technology in engineering practice actively explored .
