The purpose of systemic lupus erythematosus (systemic lupus erythematosus, SLE) patients with lipid peroxidation, protein oxidative damage, and oxidant / antioxidant role with the clinical disease activity index as well as the progression of organizations and organs of the relevance of the chronic injury. Methods Case selection Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University, rheumatology outpatients and inpatients diagnosed SLE patients and healthy controls, gender, age-matched healthy blood donors, with reference to the Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Disease Activity Index (with systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index SLEDAI) to design the questionnaire, the general linear data to investigate the cases and controls, as well as cases of disease activity and clinical / laboratory data. By spectrophotometric determination of SLE patients and normal controls plasma protein oxidative damage indicators (protein carbonyl and thiol), lipid peroxidation (malondialdehyde (malondialdehyde, MDA)), superoxide dismutase (superoxide dismutase, SOD), myeloperoxidase (myeloperoxidase, MPO) and total antioxidant capacity (total antioxidant capacity TOAC)), ELISA legal determination SLE patients with plasma anti-ds-DNA antibodies and antinuclear antibody levels. The case group and the control group, and the comparison of the quantitative data in the case group, in line with the normal distribution using the t test; does not fit the normal distribution, its Mann-Whitney rank sum test. Indicators correlation analysis, normal distribution using the Pearson correlation does not comply with the normal distribution using the Spearman rank correlation. Χ2 test was used to compare the qualitative data group. Α = 0.05 as the level of inspection. Results in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus lipid peroxidation and protein oxidation products and the healthy control group difference was significant, MDA, protein carbonyl concentration and MPO activity was significantly higher concentration of protein thiols, activity was significantly decreased, and relevant indicators of disease activity There are certainly related. Anti-dsDNA antibody-positive plasma protein thiols concentration, SOD activity was significantly lower than the negative group, combined kidney damage or cardiovascular damage in patients with SLE lipid oxidation and degree of protein oxidation was significantly higher than the above complications in patients with SLE. Conclusion SLE patients in disease activity state, there is a certain degree of lipid peroxidation and protein oxidative damage phenomena, and positively correlated with the degree of oxidative damage and disease activity. The combined kidney damage and cardiovascular damage and patients body oxidative stress status there is a certain association, suggesting that lipid oxidation and protein oxidative damage in the pathogenesis of venous microvascular injury, vascular permeability changes the pathological basis SLE chronic organ damage The mechanism may exist a certain role.
