At the beginning,this thesis has two aspects to study:the evolution of the spatial structure of villages and towns and the pattren of villages.Firstly, this thesis based on the villages and towns in Erhai regional, analysis the spatial structure elements, the process of the evolution of the spatial structure and the regular of the evolution of the spatial structure, that are the villages and towns in the Erhai regional more detailed.The group of traditional architectures of Bai in Xizhou village, the traditional folk of Bai in Zhoucheng village, Butterfly Spring and the Nanzhao Folk Island, are the famous tourist attractions, which surround the villages in Erhai. Therefore, the thesis mainly study for the pattern of Xizhou, Zhoucheng, Shuanglang village under the tourism development secondly. The village is made up of buildings units. The developing process of village is a kind of social constructing process. Studying of building units to village space is similar to the real status. So, the study is beginning at the basic unit—traditional buildings of Bai. Then study for the building groups, the interfaces which consists of the buildings, the border of villages, the squares and the road intersections of villages. Finally, the study try to find out the impact of morphological changes in villages.The thesis has five chapters:Chapter one is an introduction. It includes the object, content and methods. Grooming at the research results that both at home and abroad to sort out the spatial structure of villages and towns and the pattern of villages.Chapter two, starting from the regional spatial structure, analysis the elements of spatial structure, such as the points, lines, flows, network and hierarchy, analysis the industrial structure of the villages and towns in Erhai region, explore the process of the evolution of spatial structure, the regular of the evolution of spatial structure of the villages and towns and the dynamic mechanism of spatial structure in Erhai region.Chapter three, from the most basic unit—buildings, analysis the building groups, the interfaces, the border of villages, the squares and the road intersections, trying to find out the regular of the evolution of villages.Chapter four, analysis of the impact of changes in the pattern of villages a variety of factors, summed up the main evil Erhai region’s natural resources geographical environment, policies and management, the villages in the role of villages, the economic structure changes, the thaffic location, urbanization and awareness of the concept of farmers to changes.Chapter five, from Erhai region’s spatial structure optimization strategy, the new rural development, rural buildings updates, traditional villages of the protection and development, tourism development, traditional villages and towns in Erhai region to put forward a good development prospects, choosing the correct path of development under the context of the time, which fill contradictions and conflicts, update on the transformation of and dispensing with the creation of that the traditional villages and towns will face.
