Abstract


The purpose of understanding the female high school students and secondary school teachers AIDS knowledge, attitude and health education needs of poverty-stricken areas in Anhui Province, and analyze the factors affecting female high school students Knowledge about AIDS and to provide a scientific basis for further knowledge of AIDS health education in poor areas . Cluster sampling method to extract a poverty-stricken counties in Anhui Province, four middle schools and two high schools, a middle school girl of 1492, 250 teachers of unified survey. Results (1) middle school girls in the poverty-stricken areas of AIDS knowledge to understand poor, low awareness of AIDS basics. AIDS non-infectious pathway to understanding early high school students the correct rate is very low; early understanding of AIDS infection route, the higher rate of high school students generally correct, high school students the awareness rate higher than junior high school students (P lt; 0.05); female high school students of the area is not deep understanding for AIDS-related knowledge and low awareness of the individual projects, high school, junior high school students awareness (P lt; 0.05). Univariate analysis, score and grade of middle school girls AIDS basic knowledge, the relationship between students, academic performance, teacher support, and father work outside the home, the father culture, education of mother, father support, mother support and the relationship between the parents. Multiple stepwise logistic regression analysis of the above arguments, the AIDS knowledge score of female high school students by grade, the relationship between students and the academic performance of the three factors. High school girls AIDS knowledge to score high opportunity greater than the junior high school girls high score of 2.95 times (OR: 2.95, P lt; 0.0001);, and the worse the relationship between the students, the AIDS knowledge the opportunity to get a high score is lower (OR : 0.79, P = 0.0037); academic worse the AIDS knowledge was the score of the opportunity to also lower (OR: 0.59, P lt; 0.0001). Many schools have yet to carry out health education of AIDS knowledge, 86.93% of the people that need to AIDS health education in schools; majority of female high school students through the TV (57.10%), books and newspapers (16.76%) AIDS knowledge, and more willing to let doctors (65.95%) and teachers (17.09%) they explain AIDS knowledge, they hope to receive health education in the lower grades can. (2) secondary school teachers for the poverty-stricken areas of general knowledge of AIDS the correct answer rate of 70% or more, but the route of transmission is fully answered correctly lower rate; highly specialized AIDS knowledge the correct rate is low, such as AIDS diagnostic criteria for only 20.3% of the correct answer; Only 50.2% of the teachers care about how to prevent HIV, 67.2% of people are worried or very worried that she will suffer from AIDS; 91.3% said they were willing to go to regular hospital, only a few people will be informal clinic. 87.2% of people get AIDS knowledge through television, newspapers, magazines, 44.8% of teachers believe that schools which they carry out health education, while another 55.2% of the teachers said. 17.8% of the teachers do not agree to explain how to use condoms in the classroom, 90.0% of teachers think that is very necessary for AIDS health education courses in school. Conclusion AIDS knowledge rate of female high school students and secondary school teachers in the poor rural areas are lower, and they are eager to get a comprehensive health knowledge at the grassroots level, we should vigorously carry out AIDS health education work, to school for the position to promote the teaching and learning school teachers and students are able to fully grasp the health knowledge, establish the right of self-protection awareness and attitude towards people with AIDS. Especially female high school students to seize worldview, values ??are a good time to protect their physical and mental health.
