Abstract


Entering into the 21centry which is called "Knowledge-based Economy" period,the importance of education is greater and greater. The competition of comprehensive national strength is actually the competition of education.Nurturing a student’s talent is very important now. How to nurture the student who can not only suit for the society but also have moral trait is the subject which being discussed by education field. John Loke’s book as the staff guage of the present age,although has its limits,it has use for reference for every countries. He talked about his theories from several aspects,like moral education, intellectual education,health education,amenity education and so on. He stress on people oriented.respecting children’s personality,teach students in accordance of their aptitude.He said the moral education the most important thing. His theory full of philosophic theory,complying with mental and coeval characters, and sress on people’s full development. His principles and methods are flexible and scientific, and they are welcomed by educational filed.My paper firstly talks about Loke’s philosophy and politics theories, cause they are the source of his education theories ,and they can prove scientific and rational of education of them. Then I analyze his education theories and methodology comprehensively. And finally I get the use for reference ,especially for Chinese schools and families.This article divides into 4 parts. I use the documental ,compositive and comparative analytical method. In the first part, I talk about the source and meaning of research, summarize of documents from China and abroad, research methods. The second part tells about the basis of his education theories , beginning from his times, talking about his philosophy and politics theories,and finding the connection between these and education theories. The third part is about his education theories and methodology ,on one hand talks about the use ,methods of education,on the other hand talks about the content and ways of moral education, intellectual education,health education, and lastly talks about the judgement of his theories. The fourth part is the most important part. It is mainly about the use for reference ,specially for Chinese schools and families. To school, it concludes taking exercise, people oriented moral education, all-round development education ,Curriculum Revolution and development of teacher’s abilities.To families , It concludes dropping of spoiling, family moral education and development of interests.
