Abstract


With the network technology and the continuous development of high-performance processors to the Internet for the transmission carrier, streaming media server as the core of a new generation of video surveillance systems is becoming a focus of the market . Its distinguishing feature is a network video server directly to the simulated data for efficient processing of audio and video compression in streaming media sent to the customer access side, the user through the client software or IE browser, easy access to real-time audio and video data , the user can when unattended timer recording on the video program , to provide convenient conditions for the retrieval . This paper describes the development process of video surveillance systems as well as the status quo at home and abroad , indicating the main network video monitoring system functions and system diagram. After studying the network streaming media storage server characteristics and difficulties , based on the proposed network streaming media storage server system architecture definition and system functions . Then a detailed study of the key technologies used in program : MPEG-4 codec , video transmission protocols , socket programming and multi-threaded software design methods . In the video surveillance system client software needs analysis as a starting point , proposed network streaming media storage server software overall framework design. Analysis of the network stream media storage server system each main module functions, and how to organize these modules to complete the video storage and retrieval. And the details of the software implementation methods are described in detail. Finally, the storage server system, the actual application specific configuration program and set up the video storage server an application environment , according to the system functionality and stability made ??a complete test , the test results show that the evidence to meet the research institutions and enterprises for security monitoring systems. Finally, this paper summarizes the research work done , and the next steps are put forward .
