Abstract


The detection for hard disk’s record information is an indispensable link in the procedure of the hard disk production, also a key factor influencing the producting quality and effiency. Due to the different control systems of the producers, the hard disk record information detection tools are also different from each other. The main limits of the available detection tools’now include: restricted detection place, the lack of detection range every time, low accuracy of the result and so forth.The visual detection technology for hard disk record information developed basing on the software method integrates the traditional detection technolog’s theories and methods.This technology realizes the exact location of the specified track with controlling the hard disk’s self control system and hard disk’s interface driver program, collecting original electromagnetic signal which hasn’t been processed by head’s reading/writing channel ,through the test points on hard disk’s control circuit, processing the data with a data filter algorithm, deducing the magnetic distributing intensity data from the electromagnetic data according to the relative electromagnetic theory, presenting the magnetic intensity data in an image in time. The above tasks are accomplished by the following modules: module for controlling hard disk’s interface, remote control of the scope, self adaptive filting of the data, rebuilding the image. Detecting the normal and unnormal hard disk, the system developed based on this technology produced a sound result. As a practical, direct, accurate hard disk detection technology, this technology proves to have a superior performance to the ealier detection tools in the aspects of the operating facility, adapting capacity and accuracy.This technology has already been put to the use of hard disk detection by the hard disk producers with a high evaluation right now.
