Abstract


Three-dimensional CAD technology has accelerated the process of enterprise information , and promote the development of business productivity . Along with co-design become the main trend of the future manufacturing , heterogeneous 3D CAD systems to exchange information between the product model as enterprises are facing new problems. In collaborative design , the designer places between the need for timely and effective sharing of resources , requiring the exchange of information between the various sites . Exchange of information is the key to how a designer's design information complete transmission to other designers . The exchange of information through an entity , other designers collaborative awareness activities, both collaborate without interfering with each other . Therefore need to provide an information exchange specification and appropriate expression mechanism , designed for heterogeneous information sharing , exchange and inheritance provide effective data description ways to make participation in collaborative design between designers can understand each other barrier-free design results the meaning of the information , and the correct information exchange . This paper presents an XML-based description of three-dimensional CAD model data interchange format that is intermediate model , making three-dimensional CAD systems in different design intent between the solid model with the exchange of information . This intermediate model reference plane positioning data and the local coordinate form outline sketch map metadata and constraint relationships , characterized by the build process to build the form and manner in hierarchically structured data contained in the exchange to meet the heterogeneous three-dimensional CAD exchange between systems including design intent information needs. This topic is based JhSolid and SolidWorks three-dimensional solid modeling software systems on the Windows platform with Visual C development tools , the use of object-oriented technology , three-dimensional geometric model coding techniques and XML technology to achieve through the intermediate model in heterogeneous three-dimensional CAD system exchange of information between . After programming , debugging , and in the three-dimensional CAD and forth between heterogeneous tests confirmed that the program successfully achieved the above functions to verify the correctness and practicality.
