Abstract


Nowadays,the CAD/CAM technologies have transformed into productive forces in many of enterprises with the spread and application of technologies. Such as the old and traditional casting industry was stimulated vitality by application of CAD/CAM technologies.At present,the application in our country based on general CAD system is already more and more extensive,but further development upon the general CAD system is relatively backward.And,there are differences in the design standard,specification and standard parts between the foreign CAD/CAM software and domestic enterprises demand.Especially,they are suitable for casting industry far less.Therefore,research and explore the CAD/CAM technologies of casting processes based on a platform of commercial CAD/CAM software,which is only way to casting industries information and modernization.This paper is based on the software platform of 3D parameterization modeling design software Pro/ENGINEER,whose component module and second developing tools is known very well.The parameterization design system of 3D casting die and gating and riser system is developed by using the method of combining programming of redevelopment tool-Pro/TOOLKIT with parameterization modeling and by using the connecting method of.EXE.Firstly,this paper studies important state of parameterization variable modularization design in the mechanic series parts design,analyzes states at home and abroad of parameterization design based on nowadays casting die parts,introduces goodness and shortcomings of all kinds of software in developing and studying parameterization design system of 3D casting die parts,provides points of developing and studying parameterization design system of 3D casting die parts.Secondly,studies the noticeable things and basic steps of developing parameterization design system,analyzes second development technologies about message,menus and user interface dialog box,and develops some examples.Thirdly,discusses the rationale of parameterization design system of 3D casting die parts,builds the collectivity frame of parameterization design system and each configuration of pattern system,gating system,riser system and tooling system,emphasizely studies second development technologies of Pro/ENGINEER(modeling method of Program,family table,user defined feature).Finally,introduces developing step and application example of parameterization design system based on 3D casting die and frock.At last,it makes conclusion of this paper,and points out some questions unsolved at the same time.
