Abstract


The early days, the state in order to achieve industrial modernization, held the power of the country to cultivate industrial base. In order to serve industrial production, industrial areas supporting the building of a residential group after group of workers has become a unique urban scenery. With the continuous deepening of the market economic reform, was born in the era of planned economy, workers in residential property has experienced turnover and so multi-community social change, coupled with housing problems in the state of the environment, such as the residential integrity of obsolete equipment and facilities backward on the urban economy and social life, a tremendous impact. In this paper, the old industrial district of Wuhan residential development and status of workers, through an old industrial area of Castle Peak lists three represents workers during the residential status of an instance of the characteristics of a preliminary understanding of the residential living environment of workers during the existing problems. Then combination of inspection and study of related theories and practices at home and abroad, combined with its problems and the operational characteristics of the status quo, and actively explore the principles of transformation of residential areas for employees, models and methods, with a view to the old industrial zone in Wuhan transformation of residential areas to provide help to workers .Full-text is divided into six parts. The first part is introduction, which researches on the subject of the research background, meaning, purpose, scope and methods to determine the full framework.
