Abstract

Marine gear reducer structure noise seriously affect the hidden nature of the ship , the stability of the transmission system as well as the comfort of the crew working environment . There are several ways of controlling the vibration , the damping structure gearcase add effective measures to suppress cabinet resonance . Damping structure is designed to rely on experience and many experiments to determine the structure of the parameters , in most cases using the finite element method , the box in the the Reducer product design stage damping processing , has important theoretical value and application prospect . Influenced by the frequency due to the performance of the viscoelastic damping material , accurate modeling of the damping structure has been a problem in the kinetic analysis , finite element software ANSYS QR damping modal extraction based on a accurately calculate the structure modal damping ratio iteration control procedures . The control of damped sandwich plate structure finite element calculation , analysis and comparison of the different damping effect when the the damping structure type , structure size , damping material , processing position four conditions changes , and to come to the board structure damping design corresponding conclusions. By kinetic analysis of the gear unit housing , the inherent characteristics of the box as well as the specific conditions of the steady-state response . Board structure damping design conclusions based on kinetic analysis results to the design of damping for the gear unit housing , to determine the final design .
