Abstract

With the rapid development of transportation, bridge, road network density increasing, large-span bridges are emerging. But a lot of bridges in the course of a variety of reasons may have varying degrees of damage, cracking or aging, thus planting the safety problems, if not promptly discovered and patched it may cause a major accident, endanger people's lives and safety cause significant property damage. Therefore, the active bridge structure damage detection and early warning, timely access to health under the bridge operator has very important significance. This paper analyzes the structure of bridge engineering methods of non-destructive testing injury situation and existing problems, based on the application of the theory of curvature modal structural damage detection of bridge engineering are discussed and studied. Specific research work are as follows: (a) the structure of the current domestic and international existing bridge safety assessment methods briefly introduced the current situation and discusses the use of several commonly used methods of bridge damage identification of structural damage identification theory. (2) In view of curvature mode can better identify the bridge damage, can accurately reflect changes in local state bridges can be used to detect damage location and extent of damage. This paper discusses in detail the theory of curvature modal analysis based on the basis of their characteristics, for bridges and other structures of bending, the curvature of the modal analysis and strain modal relationships. In addition, the curvature of the neutral surface modal deformation of structural modal, its structure is very sensitive to local variations, but the curvature modal expressions easier than strain modes, plus the strain and curvature between the relatively simple relationship, select the curvature mode for structure damage identification will be more convenient and practical. (3) a brief introduction of reinforced concrete structures using finite element modeling and finite element analysis of the bridge structure some of the basic science, the basic theory of finite element analysis. Including finite element analysis methods, procedures, and unit selection. The actual bridge engineering finite element modeling provides a theoretical basis. (4) the use of large-scale finite element software ANSYS large reinforced concrete for structural analysis. Curvature modal theory based on preset defect reinforced concrete beams for the finite element analysis. By finite element analysis showed that the curvature of the bridge structure modal overall injury, partial damage have better sensitivity and concluded for the actual damage to roads and bridges diagnostic reference. But there are also shortcomings, the most important point is that the modal curvature method greatly influenced by measurement error, to be applied to practical engineering structures, the need for a lot of work.
