Abstract


With the rapid development of economy of our country and the course of urbanization, the city residents travel increase very fast, and the number of vehicles are also increasing rapidly, more and more serious in traffic jam, traffic accident and traffic pollution and so on. Only depend on control requirement, increase of supply and extend the road network are not good methods to solve the traffic between supply and demand. Using the high-tech to change the transport systems and develop the public transportation system are the best method to solve the traffic issues and guarantee the need of sustainable development of city. Because the public transportation systems have the advantages of giant ability of transportation, high efficiency, low cost of consumption, less pollution and transportation cost.Public Transportation Systems' dissertation">Advanced Public Transportation Systems is the important part of the Intelligent Transportation Systems. Advanced Public Transportation Systems make the modern communication, information, electronic control applied to the public transportation systems, and realize the public into scheduling, operating and managing information, modern and intelligent. Advanced Public Transportation Systems can provide public transport services that more timely, convenience and efficiently for traveler. And improve the attractiveness of the public transportation. It is the fundamental way to solve the supply and need on city transport.Based on the public transportation systems operational status, the paper analyses the contradictions and solution of the bus、network planning and management in our Public Transportation Systems. This paper puts forward that from the city public transportation management, improve city public transportation advanced, and realize gradually intelligence. And optimize the information system, toll system, buses and so on. In addition, the paper according to our public transportation systems operating characteristics and goals for the system, and to make the implementation of the system from the management、planning、capital investment and technical support. Finally, the paper analyses the framework of Advanced Public Transportation Systems based on Intelligent Transportation Systems.
