Abstract

Conventional signalized intersections after the introduction of the center island , its spatial layout changes caused by the vehicle trajectory change, due to the lack of theoretical research , resulting in the central landscape class intersection of time and space resources are not fully utilized . In this paper , to solve this problem , the intersection of the center landscape class vehicle lane track as a starting point , combined with factors affecting the Intersection Capacity signal timing and spatial organization of research and analysis in order to fully integrate the intersection of time and space center landscape class resources. First, a review and summary of the research results in Roundabout Capacity and signal control , discusses the significance of this study , analysis of the center landscape class Intersection Capacity influencing factors, traffic flow characteristics and vehicle analysis of delay . On this basis , according to the trajectory of the traffic in the intersection of the curve with the radius of the center island and intersection width as the key parameter to study its correlation with the central landscape intersection traffic running center View class intersection intergreen time model and signal timing plans . Secondly, the spatial organization of the central landscape intersection further research and analysis , including lane functional partitioning and internal traffic channeling . In considering the inlet and outlet number of lanes and sections of the number of lanes mutual relations on the basis of the introduction of the lane functional matrix theory , lanes functional partitioning method . On this basis, the integration of temporal and spatial design of signalized intersections analyzed and discussed . Finally, the Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone, East Second Avenue and Huanghai Road intersection , for example , the model and method of application of the thesis , focusing on the intersection signal the timing to verify the validity of the model .
