Abstract


Before China jointed WTO, its aviation oil market had been monopolized by the government. With the promise of the government to open the end product oil market becoming true, the aviation oil market became open gradually. Under a favorite circumstance of the fast development of national economy, the aviation oil industry has grown rapid, with an annual growth of 14% averagely, and the market has a considerable prospect. Confronted with the opening market, oil companies have to reduce the operational cost so as to cope with competition. Storage of oil covers a large amount of operational cost, so it is important to make a study on optimizing storage of aviation for oil company.This practice-oriented thesis is based on South China Bluesky Aviation Oil CO.LTD. Firstly, the traditional optimization theories are reviewed,thenseveral methods are provided in different market conditions. Based on the practice of aviation oil storage management in Xinzhene International Airport, the schema of stotage optimization is discussed, the result is given out and shows thatthe proposed schema can improve the management of aviation oil storage and reduce operational cost with an ease to do. Morever, the work can help South China Bluesky Aviation Oil CO.LTD to succeed in implying the low cost stratege and act as a good reference for other aviation oil supply companies in China.
