Abstract


The general contractor of the project management is an effective method of construction project management , has been widely used in the international market . The method enables the construction management of a systematic , advanced , owners and construction companies save money , improve the investment returns of the project . China 's construction project management activities carried out earlier , but its development is slow , especially in modern times, China 's construction project management level is significantly lagging behind the developed Western countries , there is construction management organization structure is irrational, not completely straighten out the management system , owners behavior is not standardized and do not study the general contracting management model , not through the problem. The historical background of departure from the management of construction projects at home and abroad , explore the history of the development of the construction project management exist by comparison with foreign construction project management , analysis of construction project management in the application and development of our country ; the problems and deficiencies ; combination of practical experience of many years engaged in the management of construction projects , from the theoretical and practical aspects of the problem and its causes construction general contracting management process , a comprehensive , in-depth research ; against the emergence of the problems raised in the engineering construction construction project general contracting management model must measure from the regulation of general contracting scale , to rationalize general contracting management mechanism , establish and improve laws and regulations , norms owners behavior and improve the general contracting management level and competitiveness of with international standards as soon as possible , promoting the management of construction projects in China has a certain value for references .
