Abstract

Along with science’s development, large-steel structure is used widely anddevelops toward the direction of big, tall and heavy, and modularization. KoniamboNickel Project has 18 blocks. Among them the heaviest is about 5000 tons. For manyfactors, the blocks are not constructed near launchways. So higher requirements fortransportation processes of the blocks are needed thirstily. In view of the load distribution, the intensity of transport vehicle beam, the pathplanning of transport vehicle, the settlementand of foundation and the standardizationof cup support, five important elements during the large-steel structure’stransportation processes, the dissertation fully analyzed and discussed. At the sametime, the finite element analysis of the intensity of transport vehicle beam and thesettlementand of foundation. The main content of this paper can be concluded asfollows:1. The load distribution is analyzed which between the transport vehicle beamaccording to the volatile static load distribution and adjustment principle and thestructure strength of the transport vehicle beam was analyzed with the help of ANSYSsoftware. Taking module 3M131 as an example, the load of the transport vehicle beamis determined and the beam intensity is analyzed at various operating conditions.2. The path of each module is planed according to the actual situation of theconstruction site layout and Dijkstra algorithm principle, the actual shipping line foreach module is determined.3. According to Drucker-Prager model for ideal elastic and non-structuralcharacteristics of ramp area venues, finite element modeling for the foundation ofnon-slide area and the strength of the ground is analyzed when the transport carshipping process in varieties of conditions.4. The settlement of the construction of foundation is analyzed, the moduleloading process and a fixed idea in the barge described. According to thecharacteristics of the construction cup support, weighing cup support and shipmentcup support, the design ideas and standardized form of cup support were proposed. The work of cleaning up of 186 construction cup support was saved. And about 850tons of steel were saved. The research method in the dissertation is with engineering practicability andwide applicability. It also provides reference to the similar large structure in stresscalculation and structure improvement. The study results on the actual project havecertain practical significance.
