Abstract


Urban management is new idea of urban construction on the condition of reform and openness. Its occurrence is welcome by urban managers because urban management can solve the problem of investment capital of urban construction that has troubled cities for a long time, the problem of low efficiency of urban infrastructure management, the problem of integration of government and enterprise, and the profound problems met with the reform and openness such as transformation of surplus rural labor, state-owned enterprise reform, transformation of government roles, adjustment and upgrading of industry structure, the entry into WTO and abiding by its rules .When Chongqing develops as multi-center groups, Nanping is just one of associate center level groups. With the planning and implement of Chongqing Central Business District, chongqing appears a metropolis taking CBD as its center and Nanbin Group becomes the core area of it. Then the significance of building Nanbin Group is equal to shape chongqing center. The concept of urban governance must be adopted to construct it. Only like this do we turn the advantages of city and environment into economic benefits.After about several years’hard work, we have achieved remarkable success in the construction of Nanbin Road. Now it is famous for its landscape, economic development and dwelling environment, which is recognized among all cities in China.This dissertation is based on dispassionate summarization of the process of construction and pondering the future direction from two perspectives of the integration of economic environment and city image and cross-subject knowledge. Firstly, the exterior environment of urban governance is analyzed. Secondly, the successful experience has been abstracted during the foregone construction. Finally, some suggestions about general pattern for the next period have been provided, which is based on the analysis and from the holistic thinking.
