Abstract


Based on the big-span metro tunnels in the shallow and weak country rock, the thesis primarily studies the mechanical characteristic, the stability and the construction methods about the big-span tunnels. The construction technologies of the tunnel are mainly utilized in the practical engineering.Besides of the study developments about the big-span tunnels home and aboard, the paper analyzes the stabilities of big-span tunnels and the influence factor, which includes shallow bury, the soft surrounding rocks. At the same time, the basis mechanical characteristic of tunnel is discussed and the formula considering the characteristics of geomaterial softening around the cavity was deduced. According to the no-linear softening model that the cohesive strength change with effective plastic strain, The analytic equations calculating the radius of the plastic-softening zones, the displacement of caves and stress of random point in the caves were presented. Then, the paper summarizes the basis method of tunneling, and primarily studies the proper method for big-span tunnels, which includes basis method and assistant method, advanced geology forecasting and the supervision measurement technique, and carries out the evaluation of construction methods.According to the actual construction procedure of Haoshanyu Tunnel, FLAC is used to simulate the construction of the tunnel with two-dimensional and three-dimensional methods, which shows the surrounding rock’s stress field, displacement field, plastic state and the results are matched well. Finally, the compare between the results of two-dimensional and three-dimensional simulation shows that the 3D model is better than the 2D model in some conditions.
