Abstract


In this paper the application of statistical and mathematical methods , the use of a large number of actual traffic flow data to analyze traffic behavior , the freeway traffic flow data exists to days or weeks for the cycle of repetitive or similar . In this paper , a time series to express the daily traffic flow data , the similarity of the traffic flow data into the similarity between different time series , which comes to the choice of the similarity function , similar to the mode classification problem . Article mainly do the following tasks : Statistics Shenzhen Expressway Road real traffic flow data , filter under the statistical significance of the raw traffic flow data , the exclusion of the the wrong traffic flow data , and the use of linear estimation method compensate for the missing data ; discusses the definition and use of the various similarity measure function , including the distance measure quantitative and qualitative trend analysis method , and applied to the study of traffic flow data , analysis and comparison of the experimental results to certify that traffic flow does exist a period of days, or weeks repeatability or similarity ; After a similar analysis of the traffic flow , the proposed innovation wave band method to determine the mode of traffic flow data through a days of traffic flow data on the various modes of the wave band for comparison and analysis of the traffic pattern of the day can be quickly judged . Article in the monthly average mode , the working day mode and vacation mode have carried out a detailed analysis to verify the presence of various modes of traffic flow data , and various modes of days or weeks as units repeated emergence of indirect proof of the traffic flow the data do exist repetitive cycle in days or weeks or similarity .
