Abstract


Tied arch bridge is one form of arch bridges. It has an extensive application anddevelopment in the modern city bridges. Along with the complication of structure and theincrement of span,there are lots of problems during the bridge construction. For thedesign requirements of work state, it is necessary to do construction control. Taking thetransportation hub project of Tianjin railway station-the alteration of the main bridge ofLi Gonglou flyover as the project background, some key issues in the constructioncontrol is inquired.The calculation methods of suspender tension are expounded. The differenttensioning plans are introduced. A 3D finite element model is established to simulate theconstruction control process of straining the suspension rod. Taking the work state as theinitial state, the backward analysis method is used to calculate the suspender tension, aswell as the actual construction process. Finally the comparative analysis of tensioningplans is done and the reasonable tensioning plan is determined.The effect of various construction errors to the bridge is discussed, and the methodof parameter sensitivity analysis is introduced. For the main bridge of Li Gonglou flyover,the parameter sensitivity analysis is done; taking the main beam deflection, the mainbeam stress, the rib deflection, the rib stress and the rib axial force as the controlobjective. The effect of the temperature, material bulk weight, construction load,suspender tension, elastic modulus, section size is analysised. This paper also uses theinterpolation method to calculate the sensitivity and identify the main parameter of thebridge, which may provide support for the parameter identification.The influence surface of the bridge is analysised. The load test plan is designed. Theload test of the bridge is completed. The test results are also analyzed and assessed.
