The Clinic Therapeutic Effect on Treatment with Gu Yu Ling Capsule for Osteonecrosis of the Femoral Head

Abstract


Objective: To observe therapeutic effect of Guyuling capsule in treating Osteonecrosis of the Femoral Head (ONFH)of Type Qi stagnation and Blood stasis of TCM dirrerienting Fever by analyzing changes of the patients’ clinical symptom marks and medical imaging and Blood rheology,which can provide theory basis and guide the clinical treatment of Guyuling capsule.Method: 109 pateents which were diagnosed as the ONFH of Type stagnation of qi and blood Fever by the first stage to the third stage were randomly divided into 2 groups. Treatment group including 56 cases,Chinese herb control group including 53 cases. Treatment group was treat with Guyuling capsule,Chinese herb control group was treatment with Taohongsiwu soup. Two groups of patients both have the similar statistics characteristic, the course and by stages, the revisit deadline. Two group patients respectively eat two drugs,After 90 days,we observe and analyze all patients by changes of the patients’ clinical symptom marks and medical imaging and Blood rheology,After three months,most symptom’s of two groups had been improved. Compared inside the respective groups,the Harris hip score and daily active function, had been improved significantly after treatment(P<0.05).It explained that the both two groups can relax the painess level and improve the daily active function. In medical imaging, the both drugs can’t change the stage of osteonecrosis of the femoral head(P<0.05).But compared with femoral head necrosis score,the two groups had been improved significantly. It explained the two drug both can relax the collapse of femoral head and the necrosis volume by this sensitive examination. Most of Blood rheology examination had been improved significantly. It explained that the blood high congealment condition can be improved,and the blood fats level can be controlled.Compared with Chinese herb control group, symptom’s of treatment group had been improved significantly after treatment (P<0.05). It explained that the curative effect of treatment group is better than Chinese herb control group. But in medical imaging,the two groups is not different significantly (P>0.05). Compared with femoral head necrosis score, the two groups is different significantly (P<0.05). It explained that the two drug is not different to change the stage of osteonecrosis of the femoral head and is different significantly to relax the necrosis volume. Most of Blood rheology examination is different significantly (P <0. 05), It explained that the result to control the blood fats level and the blood high congealment condition of treatment group is better than Chinese herb control group. Conclusions:(1)the curative effort of Gu Yu ling capsule is better than control group when it was used on treatment group to treat ONFH of Type stagnation of qi and blood Fever(2)Gu Yu Ling capsule may decline clinical symptom mark by treat ONFH of Type stagnation of qi and blood Fever (3) Gu Yu Ling capsule may improve the the blood high congealment condition and the blood fats level.(4)There is no noxious and side effort when we treat ONFH by Gu Yu Ling capsule.
