Abstract


As a kind of the ideology of the aesthetics, the Pro-literature typically represents the complicated relationship between literature and politics on the ground of revolution in 1930’s. Its aesthetical rule plays an important role in the development of Chinese modern and contemporary literature and gives rise to a special revolutionary literary morphology which contains the character of urban literature. Concerning with it ideologically, this thesis intends to elaborate the practice of political aesthetics and the new aesthetical peculiarity in Pro-literature. Meanwhile, contrasted by the later Qing’s political novels, the purpose is to find the continuity of aesthetical rule in the practice of political aesthetics, and also find the succession from it to the aesthetical form of Chinese literature in 20 century. On this basis, this thesis discusses the Pro-literature’s narrative characteristic depended on revolutionary ideology, and respectively discusses the transformation between the Pro-literature and the classical novels’narrative model of talent and beauty, three types in the narrative models of revolution and love, and the legitimacy and inherent paradox of revolutionary violent narration which is under the concept of justice in advance.
