Abstract


Second language acquisition research field , the learners personality differences by more and more attention . As an important factor of personality differences , learners' language learning beliefs directly affect the learning process , thereby affecting the final outcome of the learning . Foreign language teachers is necessary to understand the learners' language learning beliefs and their impact on the effectiveness of language learning . With the development of cognitive linguistics , metacognitive more and more attention , and learning concept is the important part of metacognitive knowledge . This research borrows the contemporary cognitive psychology research on metacognitive knowledge , English learning concepts into learning subjects in English learning concepts , and tasks related to the English learn concepts and strategies related to the concept of learning English three categories . Combined with previous research on the concept of foreign language learning , and design a metacognitive knowledge under the framework of language learning beliefs questionnaire and conducted a survey of 260 students on the the Jinan nine grade three . The objective of the study is to describe the basic features of the concept of high school students in English learning , analysis of the impact of these features for English learning and high group and low group students' English learning beliefs compare . The research found that high school students to learn foreign languages ??on their own ability to hold a positive concept , they agree with the group activities in the classroom , and recognition of the importance of listening and reading , and aware of the role of culture in language learning . In addition , the high school students generally think should formulate language learning programs , the favorable attitude of the traditional learning activities , such as recite aloud ; stronger dependence on the mother tongue . High and low grouping students in learning subjects related to English learning concept , there are significant differences in the tasks and strategies related to learning concept and not of expected so obvious . The revelation of the research for English teaching . Teachers should be enhanced by positive feedback from the students' self- efficacy . Multi - group activities in the teaching process , appropriate to increase the number of cultural knowledge , and put more energy into the cultivation of students ' language skills . In addition , teachers can be targeted to carry out strategic training to guide students to use the correct learning concepts , and enhance students' awareness of autonomous learning .
