This paper discusses the intelligent serial DSP - based embedded systems and extended in 1553 research and achieve . TMS320C6713 DSP processor chip architecture and application development examples in terms of hardware design , first discussed in detail DSP expansion module hardware circuit design . And then by studying the generic UART chip SC16C654 FIFO function around the DSP and microcontroller and intelligent serial hardware design . Finally, in a study EP-H31580 1553 bus chip based on the basic functions to read and write timing to complete the hardware design of the 1553 module . In terms of software design , first the intelligent serial data communication protocol design , and software design around the agreement . And then design a the DSP initialization module program , and the completion of the extended memory software testing . 1553 online debugging . The intelligent serial protocol and hardware and software implementations can be applied to the same serial extension system requires larger buffer capacity . Embedded system design for 1553 at the same time a new application program .
