Mainly from the hardware module designed for embedded communication platform software development environment to build , driver design and system design aspects of the application , the Research and Implementation of embedded communications platform based embedded system development for communications applications provides a general viable solution . This paper first introduces a hardware module design of the system , including the overall module design and interface design , and analysis for embedded communication platform PPCBOOT bootloader and embedded Linux system configuration , compile and transplantation ; then focuses on the embedded communication platform RTL8019AS Ethernet controller and the serial port driver design methods , and driver debugging ; concludes with a discussion of system development and application drivers test theory , and design and development of serial communication applications and ping command simulation program to test the functionality and performance of the serial and Ethernet controller driver .
