Abstract


Objective : To investigate the feasibility applied to enucleation enucleation snare , to evaluate its safety and efficacy . Methods: The design and manufacture of enucleation snare . 20 rabbits were randomly divided into experimental and control groups , each group of 10 rabbits . Patients underwent right eye enucleation , all operations performed by the same person operation to snare experimental group , the control group using ophthalmic scissors . Observed blood loss , the degree of orbital tissue injury , the optic nerve can be seen the extent and length of the optic nerve stump , and postoperative complications , and the optic nerve stump pathological examination of HE sections . Results: enucleation snare size in accordance with the orbital measurement parameter setting , material selection 1Cr18Ni9Ti types of stainless steel , the trap material selection rope ( 1 mm in diameter ) , straight tube outer diameter of 5mm port front-end processing for parallel edge . The two groups of 20 rabbits were operated successfully implemented , no serious postoperative complications . Experimental group blood loss was 5.86 ± 0.37ml, the control group was 6.65 ± 0.32ml, a statistically significant difference ( t = 5.126 , P lt; 0.01 ) ; experimental group of 10 cases of orbital tissue injury were not there , the control group 10 cases , 3 cases of lacrimal gland injury ; optic nerve exposure to the experimental group and visible the extent superior to the control group ; experimental group obtained the optic nerve stump length of 8.48 ± 1.26mm, the control group is 6.12 ± 1.59mm , the difference was statistically significant (t = 3.669, P lt; 0.01); optic nerve stump pathological examination showed that the experimental group, 10 cases , 4 cases of the control group, no abnormal presence of mild human compression . Conclusion: The use of enucleation snare is simple and quick , safe and effective , with potential clinical application .
