Abstract


Automatic measurement of high-performance low-cost image acquisition and processing system in the field of industrial measurement and control device detection , security monitoring huge demand . Compared to the CMOS image sensor , CCD image sensor has obvious advantages in sensitivity, resolution , noise control , as well as technical maturity . Developed countries for the development of the CCD image sensor - based high-performance image acquisition and processing system already has some experience and successful precedent in our technology development is still relatively weak . Therefore, the research and development of high - performance image acquisition and processing system based on the CCD image sensor , quickly mastered the core technology , to accumulate the necessary technical reserves and experience to meet the demand of China in related fields . This paper studies the course of development of the CCD image sensor , structure and working principle , performance characteristics , and CMOS image sensor compared . SONY Corporation area array CCD image sensor , and a detailed analysis of this device as the core to complete the image acquisition and processing system design . Selection CYPRESS LC4256V type CPLD ( Complex Programmable Logic Device ) chip and TI's MSP430F149 type MCU (Micro Controller Unit) chip together constitute the core of the system processing platform . CPLD design carrier , using the Verilog hardware description language to achieve the drive timing design , complete control of the CCD image sensor . CYPRESS company CY7C68013 USB device firmware , drivers, and application development , to achieve high-speed data transmission . The hardware uses a modular design , and take full account of the anti-jamming measures . Actual tests show that the above system is stable, has good flexibility and scalability .
