With growing network size and types of bearer services gradually increased , the development of the Internet has brought great convenience to the people . But at the same time , these are also the opportunity to network congestion in the network greatly increase brings greater challenges to network monitoring . Bottleneck analysis of network traffic is an important part in the network monitoring , able to accurately and timely detect network bottlenecks has a very important significance to improve the availability and reliability of the network as well as network quality of service (Qos) . Characteristics of large-scale network traffic dimension , speed , large-scale , existing network bottleneck monitoring only measurement method based on the delay of the bottleneck and bandwidth bottlenecks and network bottleneck analysis method based on network traffic , with traffic analysis and the continuous development of network behavior research , more and more people want to be able to network traffic analysis by various network phenomenon . This paper presents a new method of large-scale network traffic , network bottlenecks analysis , network traffic monitoring , to improve the ability to detect network traffic bottlenecks . First, the basic concepts of network traffic , development background and research status of network traffic collection and analysis of technology focuses on the analysis of comparison and related technologies , to identify their mutual advantages and disadvantages . Second, the proposed threshold-based flow analysis methods and flow analysis method based on PCA and to the Totem published Abliene traffic data network bottlenecks experiments using these two methods on the flow key link choice and based bottleneck analysis , and found to be very close , according to the results generated by the two methods to verify the reasonableness of these two analytical methods . Finally, the article also proposes a large - scale the network traffic bottleneck detection system framework model , traffic data collection and pre-processing module , a critical link analysis module , the bottleneck analysis module , a comprehensive analysis and visualization module , and the experimental verification the validity of the model has a good practical application value .
