Abstract


\Virtual surgery as a specific application of virtual reality technology in the process of medical treatment related to medicine , computer graphics , biomechanics , mechanical dynamics, materials science and many other disciplines , is a new cross- research area . Virtual surgery system can be divided into a number of modules , such as geometric modeling , computational modeling , collision detection , cutting simulation , etc. . Geometric modeling is the basis of the other modules , how realistic three-dimensional modeling of surgical instruments , and the model has good controllability of interaction is a very important problem . Many excellent three-dimensional graphics software such as 3DS MAX, AUTOCAD such as easy and intuitive to create an object model , but it is difficult to control them interact , so we take a 3DS MAX software and OpenGL programming combined three-dimensional modeling simulation practical Approach . Geometric modeling methods , this article through the integrated use of the 3DS MAX software 3Ds file format generated three-dimensional modeling of the surgical instruments . On the basis of analysis and master 3Ds format file structure characteristics to VC NET as a tool , the use of object-oriented methods , the preparation of the corresponding interface program reads the model data . According the triangle mesh reads the information and material information , using OpenGL graphics primitives to achieve a re- draw of the model in the application . Visual control stage of the instrument model , using VC NET provide a visual window interface and basic input and output functions combined with OpenGL functions to build the equipment pool Toolbox , based on user selection , draw a different view window equipment model . Add a control panel in the program , the equipment model translation, rotation , scaling and motion control , and model drawing mode , light set , in order to achieve the equipment model in interactive control stage . The article concludes personal experience in the project and the harvest , and the next step of the work improved the outlook .
