As the soul of the computer operating system , the status of information security is indisputable . Faced with the grim security situation , the development and popularization of the relative safety of the operating system is imminent. Of Kylin operating system to which the popularity of the ordinary user multimedia file playback problems need to be solved to select the media player as a development target . Developed a support except rm format media player for audio and video formats , and the user simply double-click to complete the installation . Research content and research results of this paper include : ( 1) through the analysis and study of the Kylin operating system , the development of the overall structure of the media player , and explored and summed up the general application software development methods Kirin systems . (2) the method to use Gnome, Gtk programming , and other Gnome libraries to write out the front interface of the media player . (3) the need for media player development , preliminary studies for various audio and video file format and codec . ( 4 ) the use of the GStreamer programming ideas and programming methods to achieve a the background processing module of the media player . ( 5 ) the completion of the the GStreamer development environment Kirin system structures , and a preliminary summary of some experience programming environment to build a Unix-like system . (6) on the basis of the above study , to achieve a Kylin operating system media player , and allows the user to double-click by mouse to complete the software installation , extended Kylin operating system applications . Kylin under media player to develop this theme , first introduced the demand raised and preliminary design of a prototype . Thus discusses the design of the front interface of the player and background processing modules . On the software implementation process , the message control mechanisms and software implementation , event handling , access to the file information , create a GStreamer play channel GStreamer bus message control , RPM installation package , making key links and a detailed description .
